Sewer Repair in Lake Zurich
Your sewer main line connects the city’s main sewer line to your home and carries a whole lot of waste to and from. When that line becomes clogged or damaged, you’re in for an unpleasant and unwanted surprise. But Lake Cook Plumbing, your local Buffalo Grove, and suburban Chicago sewer experts are here to make that problem just a little bit easier.
When your main line is damaged or needs to be repaired, call in our team of experts so we can quickly determine what’s hindering the normal flow in your sewer line.
We will send a special drain camera down into the piping to properly diagnose the size, location, and nature of the blockage. This method saves you money in the long run because it doesn’t require any excavation when finding the problem area.
Repair and Excavation
The main reason why most sewer main repairs are so difficult and expensive is due to the fact that they are entirely underground. Your yard or driveway may need to be ripped up a bit to access the main line.
If this is the case with your sewer main, our team will do our best to complete the work as inexpensively as possible, and in the least damaging way that we can.
If you’re lucky, you won’t even need the entire excavation process. When we do the inspection, we will be able to determine if your sewer main is reparable with a technique we call slip lining.
Slip lining is a trenchless (or non-invasive) method of sewer repair where a new sewer line is installed inside the existing one.
- Slip lining is completed by installing a smaller pipe into a larger one. This process grouts the annular space between the two different sized pipes and seals the ends.
- Once that’s completed, you’ll notice that your sewer main line flows like new!
- Keep in mind that whenever possible we use trenchless techniques like slip lining because they keep the sewer line repair costs down. It’s not always an option, but when it is – that’s what we choose!
At the first sign of a sewer main line problem, it’s imperative that you take action fast. Call Lake Cook Plumbing today!
